“You cannot escape the responsibility of tomorrow by evading it today.”
Abraham Lincoln

Life gets me fired up! It’s a gift given to us at birth and we are here to give and serve others. A lot of us take it for granted. I did for a time in my life. Once the switch was flipped, there’s been no turning back.

Responsibility – Discipline – Drive

These words epitomize what it means to be in control of your own life. Why on earth would you allow things outside to control you? Why let other people decide your fate?

Show up EVERY DAMN DAY! Stay committed through the hard times. Be consistent with your effort and attitude. The results may not always be there but your effort and attitude will carry you further than your talent. Keep developing the skills of hard work, mental toughness, working through difficult things, and commitment.

Be the change you want to see. How can you expect people around you to change if you are unwilling to change yourself? Work your ass off every day. Life is more enjoyable when you are moving in the direction of your worthy goals. Do something physical every day. Push yourself 3 times a week and you will start to realize what you are made of. Maybe you are made up of excuses right away because you are not in shape. This is normal. You will start to make deals with yourself about quitting. Don’t listen to the voices in your head telling you to quit when things get tough.

Stop hitting the snooze button on your life! The battle to be the best you can be is and will always be with yourself. Conquer yourself and you will have the world.
