“Manliness consists not in bluff, bravado or loneliness. It consists in daring to do the right thing and facing consequences whether it is in matters social, political or other. It consists in deeds not words.”

Mahatma Gandhi

Before making excuses about why this or that didn’t work out, look yourself in the mirror.

Too often people are quick to put the blame on things “outside” their control. It takes the POWER away from the individual and into circumstances. There are times when things are out of our control but not as often as we would like to admit.

Self-reliance is critical in becoming the best version of yourself. Personal responsibility requires a steadfast approach to life and all of its challenges – not putting the blame on others when things don’t go our way. Rather, taking responsibility for the way things turned out and making it better the next go around.
