Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for.
Life can be difficult. It can feel as if you are barely moving forward. Struggle is part of the journey. Perspective is key to continuing to push on past discomfort. When you look back on where you were – it allows you to be grateful for what you learned along the way and who you’ve become through the process.
Daily gratitude is a habit to be used by everyone. It brings you in the present moment. It reminds you of everything you have – everything you are – and that you are enough.
It is impossible to be stressed and grateful at the same time. So choose gratitude. Practice the daily habit of writing down a bulleted list of things/people you are grateful for. It is a great way to start and/or finish each day.
People who write in a gratitude journal each day are reported to be happier. And when you are happier your immune system is stronger, you live longer, and more optimally.
Be grateful – Even for the discomforts in life because they bring you towards your strongest self.
