“To permit your mind to dwell upon the inferior is to become inferior and to surround yourself with inferior things.

But to fix your attention on the best is to surround yourself with the best, and to become the best.

The grateful mind is constantly fixed upon the best, therefore it tends to become the best; it takes the form or character of the best, and will receive the best.”

Wallace D. Wattles

The thing that holds most of us back is our mindset; how we view events. Most of us have a defeatist attitude toward mistakes, failures, etc. It is far easier to blame others and make excuses than it is to fix your attention in the best way.

So I challenge you to adopt the practice of a grateful and mindful approach to life. It is one of the guiding lights in my life which has brought me enjoyment and satisfaction.
